When adding your PowerBase to your cart, you will see the options to purchase with or without the 'Wall Charger Plug". The Quick Charge plug is a higher output wall plug that can delivery 18W output. This plug is required in order to charge the Apple Watch and to be able to give the PowerBase the minimum power input it needs to work. Standard iPhone wall chargers are only 5V 1A and will not give the necessary output. If you already own a quick charge plug you may choose to use this and not add the option to your PowerBase order.
The PowerBase is compatible and can charge any Qi enabled device so make sure to check this first. The PowerBase can charge all the latest Samsung Galaxy smartphones including all the S9,10,20 and Note variants. It can also charge the Samsung Galaxy Buds.
At the moment, the watch charging stand component will not fit any of the Samsung Galaxy watch models. We are however currently working on a specific stand that will fit the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active and will therefore make it compatible with Samsung watches. This stand will be made available as an option when purchasing. Please check our compatibility for a full list of compatible devices.
Yes, almost any case is fine. The charging distance is 5mm, so if you are using your own case make sure it is not extremely thick, or has anything directly blocking the middle of the phone such as a credit card or metal plate directly on the back, as this will affect the wireless charging. If you are not sure, please check out our custom designed phone cases as they are made to work with our PowerBase.
